Fantasy 4: After the Kiss...

“OmigodOmigodOmigod”!!!!!!!  Aeryn was shaking.  “wha- why- !”

Jumbled thoughts raced through her head as she collapsed against the classroom door.  Had he just- kissed her? Really kissed her? Whywhywhywhywhywhywhy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She slid down the door to the ground, replying the moment, her face buried in her hands.  She was so absorbed that she had forgotten about where she was…

“Ehem.”  A sharp voice penetrated her thoughts.

Aeryn looked up.  “Oh, hi, Mrs. Danon.”

“Aeryn…”

“Yes?”

“Would you like to explain to us what just happened between you and your boyfriend?”

“Oh, he’s not my…”  Her voice trailed off.  Mrs. Danon was tapping her foot, and behind her Aeryn’s friend Celia was jerking her head towards the desk.

“Sorry.”  Aeryn muttered, scrambling off the floor and into her chair.  As soon as she sat down, Celia leaned over and (bluntly) demanded,

“What the HELL just happened?”

Aeryn blushed again.  “I don’t want to talk about it,” she muttered, sinking lower into her seat.

Celia observed her with intelligent brown eyes.  “Uh huh.”

“Oh shutup”.  Aeryn glowered at her.  I gave YOU privacy when you had your first kiss!”

“True, but-  Wait, he was your FIRST KISS?”  The shock was evident in Celia’s face as it paled.  “But- I thought you said you kissed that Gabe dude in 6th grade—“

“I lied, Celia.”  Aeryn rolled her eyes.  “I can do that, ya know.”

“but you SAID--”

“Said doesn’t mean swear, Celia.  Can we get off this topic?”

Celia rolled her eyes.  “No, we cannot!

“CELIA—“

“Excuse me, Miss Kodama! Miss Dyane!  Would you like to tell the class why George Washington was not at the Battle of Saratoga in 1777?”

Both teens blushed furiously.  “I can’t say, Ma’am,” Celia muttered embarrassedly.

“I thought so.”  Mrs. Danon said dryly. Detention, both of you. See me after school.  Now, continuing on,--”

The bell rang, cutting her off and the room was full of the sounds of scraping chairs and happy chatter as the students headed off to lunch.  Aeryn sighed as she took the pink slip from her teacher.

This was going to be a long day…

Chapter 3: My Fantasy (Yeah, I’ve actually dreamed this.  Don’t laugh.)

“Hey, can you help me with something?”  Aeryn’s voice broke into his thoughts, and he was alarmed by the anxiety it held.

“Sure… what’s up?”

“Well, there’s this guy I like, and I can’t tell if he likes me back…”

He was only half-listening, and he instead focused on her face.  Her aqua eyes were shadowed with worry, and her forehead was creased into a frown.

“And then during chemistry the other day…” her voice faded and out of the back round, and his eyes moved to her lips, coloured a smooth, rosy pink.  He admired the way she could make the colour look natural- only the slightest shimmer showed she was wearing lip gloss.
They were on the stairs now, heading down three flights towards her Humanities class.

“He flirts with me, like, all the time, but since he does the same to other girls so I can never tell if he likes me or someone else…”

Second flight.

“And he has gorgeous eyes, a beautiful blue with orange around the iris...”

That got his attention.  His eyes were kinda like that, weren’t they?  Yeah, they definitely were.  Wait a minute- could she be talking about him?  He racked his brain to what she had said earlier.  “And in chemistry class, he was staring at me… I really didn’t know what to do, so I just ignored it.  I mean, he sits across the room from me, so I couldn’t be sure…”
He had been staring at her for the past week.  (Not in a stalker way!  In a… I wanna kiss you right now way.  At least, he had hoped…)

First flight.

Yup.  She was talking about him.  But why… she was talking to him to learn how to deal with… him?  Did that even make sense?  URGHHH!  Girl logic was so confusing.  Unless- of course! She was trying to get a reaction from him.  WAIT! Backtrack.  SHE LIKED HIM?!

“And I wanted to know if you could tell me what he might do if I asked him out…”

They were in front of her class now, and she was hovering timidly in the doorway, waiting for a reaction.

“I think I have an idea of what he would say.”  He kept his face void of emotion.

“Really?”  Her face shone with a mixture of emotions.

And then he did something reckless.  Something without thinking.

He grabbed her hand, pulled her towards him, and kissed her gently on the lips.

Her eyes widened, and her lips twitched at his touch- but he was too absorbed to notice any of that.

Her lips tasted like pomegranate, and her hair smelled like a curious mix of lavender, peppermint, and another sweet smell that he couldn’t decipher.  Her skin was so soft… it only vaguely registered in the back of his mind that Aeryn’s entire Humanities class, including the teacher, was watching them.

Finally, she broke the embrace, and they both stood there, breathing heavily and wondering what the heck had just happened.

She blushed furiously, and when she spoke, her voice was an octave higher than usual.

“Well, I’ll, um… see you around!”  She rushed into the room, where her classmates were waiting with open mouths.

He twirled around, hand on the back of his head, and chuckled embarrassedly.
Then, a smile growing on his face, he headed to his next class.

This was going to be an interesting day.

Intro to this Blog Thingy

Hi. I'm Frell U (no, I'm not trying to be insulting, but I luv that name.)
Just refer to me as Aeryn.
Have any of you ever been in tough love situations?
I have.
So, to write out my discomfort, I'm making a blog with all the my analogies of things I'm afraid to say out loud, in mainly a narrative form.  I've always been really comfortable telling stories in way of food, however, because I love cooking, so...
Each food represents a person.
A group of food represents a group of people.
For example,
a cupcake represents really sweet guys who can sometimes be sour (if not baked to perfection).
a chocolate cupcake represents someone with brown/black (or hazel) eyes and brown hair.
a chocolate cupcake with blue frosting is a guy with blue eyes and brown hair.
It's weird, but I really have no other way to do it.
The characters here are all real people, and I've given them food names that represent their personalities.
unfortunately, that makes everything sound super weird.
I apologize.
SO! with that out of the way, enjoy the events that have happened to me in the past 3 years.
any comments, advice, or anything, you know what to do.
Have fun.
:)
